Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. You can reach Kea in one hour on one of the three to four ferry boats going to and from the island every day. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private villas are rented out during the summer months. Most of these villas are made from local stone, giving them this unique architectural style.
The villa is in the area of Koundouros, 17 kilometers from the Port of Korissia. Koundouros is a residential area so it is ideal for those that want to relax and enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches just 2 minutes from the villa. The beach of Koundouraki has some water sports for those that want to water ski, jet ski or go Scuba diving. Port Koundouros is a blue flag beach with a restaurant, bar that is only a minute away by car and 5 minutes by foot.
The villa is made of solid stone, inside and outside and is surrounded by large terraces with various shaded areas, from where one can enjoy the breathtaking sea view. The ground floor of the villa has a large living room with a fireplace and wooden beams on the ceiling. Near the living room is the dining area and the fully equipped open-plan kitchen. Leading off the living room is a large shaded veranda with a dining and seating area. From the kitchen there are doors leading to a large terrace with a built-in seating area, a dining area and the barbecue. On the first floor of the villa is a large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and a shower room. Near the stairs leading to the lower level, which comes out on to another large terrace is the guest w.c. On the lower level is a seating area with two built-in sofas, two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The villa will be de-sanitized, including the air-conditioning units before guests arrive and after their departure.
