We ask that anyone renting the apartment be willing to accept viewing visits by prospective buyers during your stay; any such viewing visit would be by prior arrangement & escorted by the estate agent.
We would only request such a visit if it is not possible on change-over days, and we would make a thank-you refund of £75 if such a visit were to happen.

For holiday rental is the upper floor apartment (82sq m +balconies) with stunning views to the Ionian Sea. The ground floor apartment is owned & occupied by others during the season ( not rented out).
Built & equipped to the very highest standard, there are 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities; bedroom 1; double, with a sea-facing balcony. Bedroom 2; twin or super-king size double, & own balcony. Air conditioned throughout, the apartment has a fully equipped modern kitchen complete with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, combination microwave, coffee machine, toaster, plenty of crockery+cutlery & all that the self-caterer may need. The large open plan living area has a dining table & 6 chairs, two leather sofas (sofa-beds), WiFi internet, TV/DVD, radio, CD player & iPod dock, opening to a large covered dining balcony with a great view to the sea. The villa has a private pool with a large patio, 8 sun-loungers, barbecue & decking where you can sit in a swinging seat in the shade of mature olive trees.
The pool & garden are shared with our friends Rob & Christine who own the ground floor apartment and live there during the summer season.
Kalligata: Villa Heliades is located on the edge of the pretty village of Kalligata in the exclusive Leviathos region in the south of Kefalonia. The beautiful views from the front of the villa are of olive groves & cypress trees out to the Ionian Sea. Kalligata itself is a small well maintained traditional village, with attractive gardens, a small mini-market, and a small children’s play area. The closest beach is Avithos; 1.6km from the villa by road. Whilst you can walk to the beach, save some energy for the walk back up to the villa! There is parking at the beach, which has two nice tavernas & a beach bar. The beach is popular with the Greek locals, but rarely busy, unlike some of the larger beaches around Lassi. Kalligata is about 15 minutes drive from the capital, Argostoli, where you can find good restaurants, harbour side bars & tavernas, internet cafe, and a range of shopping to suit every taste. The hospital is also very good. A lovely harbour town with a wonderful, friendly atmosphere
Kefalonia: The largest of the Ionian Islands, Kefalonia is unspoilt, with a varied, beautiful landscape. The island is very friendly, with a nice atmosphere wherever you go. The beaches are good, the sea usually impossibly blue, particularly on the west coast of the island, and the hospitality in the wealth of tavernas, bars & restaurants is warm & genuine. (Even our fussy daughters love the local food). There is walking for the adventurous with great views from Mount Ainos, and a host of beautiful villages for those that like to explore. The Melissani Lake, the beautiful old port of Fiscado, the caves at Drogarti and neighbouring Ithaca provide excellent trips out for the holiday maker. Don't forget to take lots of tomatoes to feed the giant loggerhead turtles in the harbour. You can take dolphin spotting boat trips from Argostoli & conservation boat trips from Fiscardo. Boat trips to neighbouring Ithika are also very popular. The snorkelling at locations all around the island is excellent.

Out of season, there are currently no direct flights, but you can travel via Athens.
