Positive: The service was superb: staff friendly, ready to assist, everyone seemed happy to work there. The property is absolutely beautiful, lovely landscaping with attention to detail, cozy. I especially loved the terraces on the beach with stunning views. The location was great - close to the airport and Knossos Palace. The food at the a la carte restaurants was great. Our kids really loved the kids club and the waterpark. The staff was also really helpful with accommodating our request for the two rooms to be next to each other and even upgraded us to make that happen.

Negative: The main thing that was noticeable and a bit unpleasant was the smell of sewage or something similar in a few locations across the property. Hopefully, it’s an easy fix and temporary, because otherwise it’s really wonderful to vacation there. It also appeared that many of the guests we spoke with keep coming back year after year.
