Comprising 3 bedrooms (sleeping up to 7), open plan lounge, dining & kitchen, 2nd lounge, balcony w/ spa bath, 2 bathrooms, laundry & parking, its got our tick of approval for fabulous views & location, & did we mention the views?! Note that downstairs is permanently tenanted. Limit of 2 cars per stay.

This unique ‘upstairs half’ of a holiday home is right on Silver Sands Beach with only a quiet road separating you from the surf. The views are truly sublime. From your private entrance there are stairs up to the apartment so it may not be ideal for elderly guests.
The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen is light and bright, benefiting from the many large windows looking out to the beach. The palette is also light and coastal so the ambience is relaxed and soothing, perfect for a holiday.
The dining suite seats 6, there is a comfortable leather sofa and two armchairs, seating 5, and a TV as well as rugs, artwork and occasional furniture adding warmth. The U-shaped kitchen is open and light-filled, and there is also a BBQ out on the balcony. Wherever you sit, or when you’re cooking up a storm in the kitchen, the views will definitely draw your eye!
Sliding doors open out to the balcony, where you’ll find an L-shaped lounge, stools at a breakfast bar looking out at the dreamy views, a table and chairs and a spa bath. It’s a wonderful place to sit and relax, take your meals or enjoy a wine while watching the waves. Watch the Dolphins in the surf from the comfort of your balcony!
The bedrooms are similarly well appointed and tastefully decorated. The main bedroom also has access to the balcony, and includes a Queen bed, walk-in wardrobe and a shower ensuite. The second bedroom, with a double bed, has double aspect windows and a built-in robe, and the third houses a triple bunk: a double underneath and a single on the top. The second bathroom is combined with a laundry and has a shower, vanity and separate toilet as well as the washing machine. There is a clothes line allocated to you outside.
Also outdoors is a shower to wash the sand off when you come back from the beach, and parking for up to two cars (one secure, behind the gate, one on the lawn).
With heating and air-conditioning, WiFi, towels and bed linen included, and coded entry for your security and convenience, this is a great alternative to a traditional apartment, providing a more private holiday accommodation option. Please note that the downstairs permanent tenant has a dog, but this apartment is NOT pet-friendly, and quieter holiday makers are encouraged, due to the sharing aspect of the house with the downstairs tenant.

Set in a quiet, no-exit street, with local traffic only, this is a wonderful spot to spend a relaxed holiday. Silver Sands Beach in Comet Bay is a lovely long stretch of white sand and is great for swimming and fishing. From the property, you literally just cross the road and wander down the short path onto the sand - absolutely perfect!
There are local shops at Silver Sands within walking distance, including an IGA, pharmacy and newsagent. Eateries there include pizza, Vietnamese, burgers and the Silver Sands Hotel. The cycle pathway along the foreshore takes you all the way along the beach into Mandurah with all that the foreshore offers in eating and dining out. There are also plenty of retail outlets in Mandurah should you need some retail therapy.
If you have children with you, they may be interested in visiting the local Flip Out Amusement park and Caterpillar Playground, or, in Mandurah, Inflatable World, the pirate ship experience, the hop-on-hop-off tourist train, King Carnival, Amaze Miniature Park or the aquatic centre. So much choice!
Also on offer in the area are the lovely nature walks, both along the beach and along the Serpentine River. Enjoy the birdlife as well as the marine life.
This is a fabulous area to take a break and Bay View Apartment at Silver Sands is a terrific base to explore it all from.
