Positive: I am in no way boasting but I have stayed in countless hotels around the world: some good, some bad and some….well! 😱 However, this was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Mahmoud the manager was a hero who was always available with texts and help. He is just the most approachable and happy guy you could wish to meet. It always been my belief that a manager can make or break a hotel. This guy not only makes it, he nails it. The restaurants offered great variety and tasty selections. I also visited some of the à la carte ones on site which were very good; especially the Indian one. A special mention here goes to the young, happy and always smiling waiter Abdelrahman who is an absolute credit to the hotel. He made my stay a happier one. Give that man a promotion 👍🏻😉. The pool and beach areas were always clean, safe and well staffed by truly friendly guys. The beach area was also kept in fantastic condition with a beach bar with friendly expert cocktail makers. As for my room (2047) I think I was given an upgrade on arrival. I had a fantastic view of the pool and sea in a part of the hotel which was quiet and peaceful. It, along with the bathroom were spotlessly clean and maintained everyday if required. The boys who looked after my room (I hate the word cleaners) were five star. They deserve a special mention. A little take out breakfast at 4am was provided for me again by Mr Mahmoud for an early start for an excursion which again was a lovely touch and provided with generosity and without question. The A/C and WiFi were also spot on. Some of the bedroom furniture may be a little dated but this is far from being a criticism, it mattered not one bit. As for the bed, it was big and comfortable with lovely clean bedding. The room had everything I needed. The fridge was stocked everyday with water and soft drinks as well, which was a bonus. There is also a big store (The 3 Pyramids) right opposite for any extras and souvenirs.
