This ground floor residence is part of a traditional stone built house, characteristic type of local architecture, built at the end of 19th century and renovated during 2006-07 and further expanded during 2018-19 with a fully independent and self-catered guest house.
The residence is sited in the old traditional settlement of Tyros, East Peloponnese. Tyros, built amphitheatrically on the east slopes of mount Parnon, consists of two-flat houses, with single architectural style and combines both mountain and sea scenery. In our days the hospitable permanent residents, maintain the traditional social web of the village, with their occupations including small vegetable gardens, domestic animals and poultry, olive and locust trees.
