Summary: The Villa is as it looks in the photographs! It's a very spacious, well equipped and private location, has a gorgeous little beach 5 minutes walk away through an olive grove and it is a very comfortable place to stay; people visit to clean the pool and house regularly and you don't have to buy loo rolls or washing up liquid! The owner is very relaxed and there if you need help. There's an abundance of fresh fruit in the gardens which you can help yourself to. Chania is very close, as is the airport. There's a fantastic view across the swimming pool at the front of the property to the sea which you can enjoy every day. A great holiday location for adults and children, we had a fantastic time. There are one or two things worth knowing that shouldn't put you off. There's no visitors book so you must ask questions of the owner and do some local research on where to shop, eat and visit. There's an unfinished building site behind the property - not a huge problem, especially as there's no inhabitants so there's total privacy. You definitely need a car. There's a NATO base nearby - great if you love the sight and sound of fighter planes!
