This lovely 2 bedroom villa in the village of Metaxata, South West area of Kefalonia, is ideally located for touring this beautiful Island and its beaches. The generous well kept gardens feature a beautiful old olive tree which provides ideal shade during the hottest times of the day. Full cooker, washing machine, large fridge freezer and air conditioning in the living area and bedrooms. Free wi-fi and internet television are available for guests use. Metaxata is only (10 kilometres) 10 minutes drive from the capital Argostoli and the busy resort of Lassi. A variety of lovely sandy beaches and the airport are 10 to 15 mins away. The fortress of Saint George the old capital of Kefalonia is close by and has spectacular views. There is a small supermarket and a Gyro/Souvlaki bar in the village and 2 excellent Tavernas within 5 minutes walking distance. Lakithra the next village (1 Km) has supermarket, bakery, Pizza/Greek Restaurants and Café/Bar. We recommend the Byzantio Pool Bar in Klismata for swimming, also the Mouikis Village in Lakithra which offers swimming pool, tennis courts and bar for public use.
