Summary: Villa Kleanthi was the perfect setting for a family getaway on Crete with ample space for 7, easy access to the beach (4-5 min walk) and restaurants. The views from the decks are gorgeous, the pool was great for cooling off on hot summer days and the kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances. Our host, Georgios, greeted us in person on our first day and went out of his way to provide provisions - water, juice, bread, eggs, etc. He made sure we had access to transportation when needed and provided recommendations on restaurants and outings. The location is ideal - quiet neighborhood but a short walk to supermarket, bars, restaurants, nightlife and the beach. There’s a bus station 4 mins from the house that got us into Chania for 1.60 euros - a great option if you want to go to dinner in Chania (the bus runs until around 2am). Highly recommend Villa Kleanthi and a visit to Chania/Crete!!
