Summary: We have just returned from our wonderful stay in this property in Agios Georgios. Dimitra is the extremely welcoming host who was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. She had left us water, fruit juice, beer and fresh fruit in the fridge as well as a bottle of wine and ouzo! The property is a new extension built on the back of Dimitra’s family’s small supermarket and is a new build, decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. The ground floor is open plan with a spacious seating area and kitchen with a shower room on the ground floor with another one on the top floor along with 2 double bedrooms, so worked very well for us as a group of 2 couples. The property has really effective air conditioning downstairs and in both bedrooms so no uncomfortably hot nights. Outside is a rear and front garden and covered patio with a dining table with chairs. Location wise it is perfect- next door is the small supermarket ( no noise at all from there) and across the road is a beautiful swimming pool and bar which is open to the public and which always has plenty of free sunloungers. The town is an easy (flat) 10 minute walk away and is full of really good tavernas, bars and supermarkets. The beach is a 15 min walk away which is reached through the town; the sea is crystal clear and the beach sandy, with plenty of sun loungers to hire. We had a really relaxing stay and Dimitra was a fabulous host ensuring that we could contact her at any time via WhatsApp, I would highly recommend!
