Summary: My husband and I stayed at The Residence upon our arrival to Athens. I was surprised to see reception hours are only 8a-4p, so we never interacted with the staff. I do really like the keyless lobby & room entry system they have which made it not a problem to arrive after reception closes. They sent me a WhatsApp message with the key code which worked great. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Have no complaints there. I took off a star because we had a ground floor room and our window opened right up to an alleyway where people walked and parked their motorbikes. We kept the curtains closed the whole time. Additionally, it was very loud whenever other guests would enter the hotel as they had to walk right by our room. We were routinely woken up throughout the night by voices. We could also hear voices outside in the alleyway as well. So while the room is as advertised and very nicely decorated (and clean), the noise & disruptions, and limited reception hours were negatives of our stay. Location, however, was perfect
