The advantages of the location of the house are little noise, no cars, no pollution and a breathtaking view down towards the islands, the sea, the harbour at Rafina and the north of Athens. The house is on a very quiet street in the periphery of Athens. The house is also ideal for hiking in nature, for climbing the mountain of Penteli, and following a hiking trail that reaches the sea.
You can see the first Cyclades islands, the island Kea and sometimes even the island Andros from the veranda. You also have a view towards the harbour at Rafina and to the right of the site of Athens international airport. On the north side Athens is right in front of you. The veranda has a great wicker sitting corner with a table, sofa and two armchairs for six people, in the shade most of the day. The area on the edge of the veranda receives more sun and you can sit at the glass table here and enjoy your breakfast. Next to the veranda there is the 26m² pool with a depth of 1.5 to 2.1 metres. The sitting and lounging area here with three sun loungers, a small sofa for two people and a glass table for six people invites you to sit and relax. You can park your car in the private garage in the house and take the lift.
The 130m² house has two separate entrances, either up stairs or via lift, and is suitable for five people. When you enter the living room, you will be struck straight away by the tasteful furnishing in the dining space and the cosy sitting corner with two sofa beds and a large LED TV. There is an adjoining kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, cooking utensils and cutlery. You go past the living room to the three bedrooms, of which two have a double bed 180cm wide and the other a double bed 140cm wide. One of the bedrooms boasts its own bathroom with a shower cubicle and WC. There is also a guest WC with a washbasin. The house is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, wireless Internet connection, air conditioning and heating.
Supermarkets are a 7-minute drive away, the beach and the harbour at Rafina 20 minutes, as well as the airport, and the city centre of Athens a maximum of 35 minutes. There are daily ferries from the harbour in Rafina to Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Paros and Naxos.
It is recommended to rent a car for the duration of your stay.
