Summary: The 2 bed apartment has recently been renovated and has many great qualities and amenities that we appreciated as a family, from a washing machine and drying rack to reliable air con and shutters on the window to block out the morning light. Plenty of space to dine outside, though a bit tighter inside perhaps. A fantastic maid service provided by Flora was invaluable, and great to have both bathroom and pool/beach towels provided. There is also some parking, though you can’t control how well (or poorly) people in other villas park!! There are some lovely restaurants nearby, 2 little supermarkets, and a great apartment block with a pool that’s perfect for little ones (make sure you purchase drinks/food). The beach is a very steep walk down from the apartment, but there are toilets, a bar and a shower. There are gardens around the apartment which is nice, and we were able to fully enjoy these as my sister was renting the garden apartment below. We had some noise complaints about the children, because the villas are all relatively close together, but we never let the children run around outside before 8. I appreciate this is early for some, but you can’t control who will be on holiday at the same time as you and expect things to be the same as at home!! We had some difficulty in reliability with the owner changing our accommodation from the 3 bed villa to the 2 bed apartment, despite having booked more than a year in advance. I don’t think it’s acceptable to continue marketing somewhere as available when it’s been booked. Though there were only 4 of us, my parents in law had planned to come too for part of the holiday. Even though we had a small reduction in price (market value, not a sweetener), it has left a sour taste and it makes me unsure about trusting this booking system again. However, the owner was always on hand to help and provide information and support when needed.
