Aghia Efimia is a small, picturesque village in the middle of the island and is a very good spot to start one day excursions to discover the beauties of the island or to relax at the famous Myrtos beach (10 min. drive) or at the magnificent Antisamos beach (15 min. drive). Except the main beach of Aghia Efimia that is in front of the apartment, there are another three small beaches in walking distance. From Aghia Efimia start daily cruises to the island of Ithaka and to Fiscardo. There is also a diving school that can take you for scuba diving at the crystal clear waters of the Ionian sea. Last but not least, one can rent small boats and make excursions in the nearby isolated bays.
