The house is compact (48m2) and consists of one large bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and a well equipped kitchen. There are two large terraces with amazing views and the shore is so close that you can hear the music of the sea.
The wonderfully located Amaryllis House has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Simple traditional furnishings are brought to life with some lovely imaginative touches giving it a real home-from-home charm. Doors from the living area lead out onto the two glorious private terrace with spectacular views across the water to Ithaca, legendary home of Odysseus. There is plenty of room to lie back and dream of the Greek Gods or to sit and enjoy a leisurely lunch or romantic dinner under the stars. The beautiful gardens surrounding Amaryllis House, are brimming with colour: bougainvillea, plumbago and geranium tumble into one another, all lovingly tended by the owner, giving the place an authentically Kefalonian feel.
However, the real beauty of Amaryllis House is its proximity to the pretty fishing village of Fiskardo, with its tempting array of shops, bars and waterfront tavernas, just a 5-minute walk away. Swimming and snorkelling are possible from the rocky shoreline at 50 m below the property; or wander along to the enchanting Foki beach, just a 10-minute stroll away, this idyllic spot is fringed with olive and cypress trees. There is so much on your doorstep, even the possibility of hiring a boat and exploring the numerous beaches and coves that are a feature of this beautiful coastline
