Positive: The place was naturally cool - helps in the summer heat :) Owners are very accommodating, kind, and swift to response. The pool was nice and comfortable - felt secluded and special. The stone flooring was very nice and made the place feel both rustic and sturdy. There were a number of small amenities like water, coffee+machine, plenty of plateware that was all appreciated. The numerous watercolor paintings were very sweet and made you feel connected to the area. Close to a number of places, but also far enough away to feel quite private. At Evening you could hear the golden jackals distantly laughing in the woods nearby. Some people may not like that, but it really made the house feel close to nature in a way that I adore.

Negative: The road to the house off of the highway feels a bit perilous. Ironically though I feel like this added to the sense of privacy to the house because no one is coming down that road unless they absolutely have to. The bed is only so-so comfy. Some simple housekeeping tools like an iron and a broom would have been handy. Maybe there were there and I didn't see them. I saw another review that was criticizing many things like how the place was hard to find, that the keys were inaccessible, and that there was a window with a light above it and no curtains which seemed creepy. All of this is nonsense - it was very easy to find simply with Google Maps, access to the keys was simple, and there is a window as described, but it has shutters which can be easily closed.
