Positive: Highly recommend this cozy Pasalimani apartment. The daughter of the host speaks fluent English, was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful answering questions and providing suggestions. The instructions provided for how to get into the apartment and how to use things in the apartment were fabulous and are written in English, Chinese and Greek. The apartment was clean and has lovely balconies with tables so you can enjoy views of the city. The queen size bed was very comfortable. We visited in December & used the mini split for heat in the evenings; it worked out well & is used for cooling in the warmer months. We used the washing machine which worked well & had excellent instructions that were supplemented by the host's daughter and dried clothes during the day on the drying racks on the balcony (there is no electric dryer, but you don't need one.) The location of the apartment in Pasalimani (Piraeus) was ideal. It is an easy 8-10 minute walk from the Metro line which goes to Athens and the Airport. It's a 5 minute walk from numerous restaurants with harbor views and you can take long strolls along the Zea Marina. It's also near a beach (Votsolakia) where people were swimming in December. There is a 4 floor ΣΚΛΑΒΕΝΙΤΗΣ (Sklavenites) grocery store which has everything you could possibly need about 5 minute walk away and a smaller version is right around the corner from the apartment. There's an educational museum (Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation) around the corner with a maritime collection. Furniture & kitchenware are a bit sparse, but livable. The bedrooms have a rack for hanging your clothes, but there is no dresser; this wasn't a big issue as we only had carry-on luggage, but if you were staying for a long time, it may get tiresome. The kitchen has a table with 4 chairs. The sitting area with the TV has 2 chairs.

Summary: Highly recommend this comfortable apartment, loved the area, will stay here again.
