Just above the villa is the village of Chlomos, a typical Corfiot village where your can walk through the narrow streets and admire the graphic local houses draped with bougainvillea blossom. You can also enjoy the panoramic view from Balis Taverna while eating good local cooking. Along the sea front are a selection of fish tavernas renound for their excellent sea food. The tavernas are literally on the beach combining easy dining with the romance of a moon lit ocean.
The nearest beach is at Messonghi - only a 5 minute drive from the villa. This is a family, sandy beach and water sports are also available here. Only a few kilometres west discover some of the prettiest beaches on the island away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts. Easily accessible with local tavernas serving food all day. These especially children friendly beaches are perfect for a relaxing day and if you get too hot the shade of the olive trees and vine covered pergolas is just the thing while drinking a glass of the local wine al fresco.
