Positive: Scalma was exactly what we needed to spend the perfect New Years Eve, as we did not want to take the traditional approach. We got to recharge our souls, we rested due to the comfortable beds. Cooked food as the apartments are fully equipped with everything you might need. But I guess what impressed us the most, was the silence and peace of it all. We enjoyed the morning walks on the pebbly shoreline to the nearby villages, listened to the waves, and had the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, overlooking the Rio-Antirrio Bridge. For this place you may need to rent a car, as it was created far from the noise of the towns...but we had no problem with it. We loved exploring Nafpaktos, and nearby villages. With a car you can really be adventurous. Our host was very accommodating and I believe it was the start of a friendship. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a holiday. The boys played table tennis, and soccer... there were plenty of activities that they thought about. I could write an entire essay about this, but it is all in the eyes of the beholder. It was perfect for us!
