Positive: Sunset House is located directly on a small and pretty quiet beach. You can take a dip in the sea first thing in the morning or late in the evening, and choose to either stay on the beach or simply sunbathe on the terrace. The house also offers stunning sunsets every day. Although it's right on the beach, it still provides privacy and quiet. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves is truly something special. The location was easy to find and the host was very friendly. Free public parking is available nearby, in the port area (just a short walk away). For loading/unloading the car, there is space available right in front of the house. There is a good pastry and coffee shop, as well as some tavernas just a few steps away. Sunset House is an older home currently in the process of being upgraded to meet modern living standards. It may take a little time to get used to its particularities. There are two separate entrances for the two levels of the house. The bedroom and bathroom are on the lower ground floor, while the kitchen and living area are on an elevated ground floor. There is an air conditioner in the kitchen-living area, and it works well for the entire space. We preferred eating at tavernas, but the kitchen seems to have the necessary utensils to prepare meals. A kettle would be a useful addition. A few observations that might be relevant: The bathroom ceiling is quite low; anyone taller than 170 cm will need to bend down. You need to be careful with mosquitoes (as pretty much everywhere). The mattress is rather firm and the pillows are on the high side.
