The village is 37 kilometers (38 minutes) from Heraklion and the nearest airport, 27-34 kilometers (37-40 minutes) from the bustling and crowded northern beaches (Hersonissos, Stalida, Malia) and 31 kilometers (40 minutes) from Tsoutsouros with one of the most beautiful and clean beaches of southern Crete. Within 40 with 50 minutes you can enjoy swimming in other beautiful and quiet beaches in the south (Kastri, Keratokampos). The location is also ideal for exploring the Lasithi plateau and the surrounding traditional villages, where you can enjoy amazing Cretan cuisine with local products.
